National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Data Dictionary

VISC has received a grant from the PA Department of Education to extend the concept of metadata for use in their anticipated e-Government educational portal called PIMS. The Pennsylvania Information Management System will integrated diverse information to provide Pennsylvania citizens with web-based intelligent services across agencies.

VISC announces that it has received another grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). VISC will be extending its work on metadata to include the Pennsylvania Safe Schools Program.
